T O P I C R E V I E Wmargym0oFriends for about 2 years, went through hell and back to have a relationship, dated for 3 years, had an amicable split 2 years ago and have managed to stay friends ever since...Why do I feel like this man will always be a part of my life, no matter what? I feel as though the circumstances surrounding us meeting and having each other in our lives was so significant and even though we've both moved on since our split, there's not been one bad word exchanged or one hard feeling expressed...it's so strange. I felt like he was exactly what I needed at that time and I felt like I really did love him, but there was never that passion or desire to make a life with him. It was an amazing friendship above all else. It felt very natural and easy to be with him and our friendship to this day remains the same. Is there a reason for this?Synastry (I'm inside): Composite: theunknownsynastry doesn't seem that wonderful. Not much contact between venus and mars. Not much 7th overlay either but I haven't looked at it carefully.you have really nice composite. Hence the loving quality, being generous to each other after breakup, etc ...When I read your description, in my head I was like "sun-jupiter composite."You two also have love stellium (http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum24/HTML/209763.html)not everyone on LL believes in loves stellium though There's one aspect in the composite which is jupiter opposite pluto and in my PERSONAL experiences, this aspect tends to mean that two people have two different life directions and decide to pursue them without the thought for the other person. Maybe your career and life paths are not compatible. The rest of the chart is nice which holds you two together as friendsMars opposite sun can lead to some ego conflicts. Moon conjunct saturn might mean that emotions do not flow easily between you two. This aspect tends to be seen in parent-child composite, so maybe you two try to protect each other in a parental way? I dont know much about asteroid but chiron conjunct composite ascendant might mean you project healing qualities but there might be wounds in the expression of you two as a couple.FaithYour suns are trine for one thing... We were very good to and very generous with each other. You are right about Jupiter opposite Pluto. Our relationship was long distance for the first year as was our friendship prior to that. I left my life behind and moved to be with him as he was in the US military. I accepted this decision and began a new life just fine until I realized I didn't want to be that far from my family and home anymore so I made the choice to move back which is when we split up. While sad he understood my reasons and again never said a bad word, our lives were just on two different paths.Mars opposite Sun ego conflicts...hmm. I wouldn't necessarily say that. I think we had enough other aspects to smooth over any bumps because we rarely fought and when we did disagree on something we either quickly compromised or one of us gave in so it never became anything big.Moon conjunct Saturn...yes! One of the secondary reasons I always said for our split was I often felt like his "mother." He was very naive to a lot of things when I came into his life so I helped guide him, mentor him, boost his confidence etc. in many areas. It got tiring after a while. Chiron conjunct Ascendant, not sure about this one.margym0o quote:Originally posted by Faith:Your suns are trine for one thing... The composite is beautiful...just look at it. Never aggressive, never violent. We had differences in opinion on some things (like most people) but I guess we were so quick to "agree to disagree" and move on it was no big deal - we just talked it out. Both of us are very non-confrontational. If he did something to tick me off he was very good about picking up on that and doing what he could to smooth it over. Maybe that's his Libra Sun shining through? He was always incredibly accommodating. Or maybe we had enough other good aspects that they overrid this negative one? If he was ever ticked off at me about something I could always pick up on that too. We were very good at reading each other.Aubyannemargym0o,We've got a SUN-JUPITER-VENUS stellium in our composite, too. It's the same in my experience: it denotes generosity, goodwill, a natural friendship and positivity. What it doesn't do much in the way of is passion, attraction, or that necessary friction which tends to drive couples into a need to express themselves in a raw, physical way. (And we've got an exact synastric conjunction of MARS and PLUTO, too!)Indeed, we discovered what I've come to call The Passion Problem. While we never fight, may occasionally argue, and are also never unkind, we also wouldn't rip off each other's clothing, or have passionate sex. Rather 'sex' and 'passionate' never found themselves in the same sentence. I honestly about gave up, after nearly five years of the same wonderful friendship, but dispassionate 'romance'. It didn't trouble me -- until the day it finally did. And, as we do in all things, we discussed it -- openly, calmly, logically, but sensitively. I couldn't sum it up better than he did:'We're entirely too considerate of each other, aren't we?'Look at that word. Considerate. The essence of VENUS and JUPITER, which is at the core of our dynamics, tightly conjunct the composite SUN. I agreed. Neither of us ever wish to be the least bit impolite or imposing. We're respectful, patient, and congenial. So it shoved any of his lunar Aries energy along with my Scorpio into some kind of Austen-esque relationship; the conduct of which Emily Post would be proud. HARDLY a recipe for passion. Is this a problem you had, too?waitingforyou quote:Originally posted by margym0o: That's another aspect I scratch my head over because again we rarely fought.
